Seven years late, director Jonathan Levine\u2019s debut film, All The Boys Love Mandy Lane<\/strong> will finally be arriving in theaters. After rescuing the film from its legal limbo last March, the studio has announced that it will premier on Video On Demand on September 6 which will be followed by a limited theatrical release on October 11.<\/p>\n

The film was originally bought by the Weinstein Company for their Dimension Films banner following a successful premier at the Toronto Film Festival in 2006, but they turned around and sold it to Senator Entertainment in the aftermath of the Robert Rodriquez-Quentin Tarantino double feature Grindhouse crashing and burning at the box office. Unfortunately, Senator itself soon folded, leaving the release of the film in limbo. The film did get release overseas and since then, many genre fans looking to see the film have imported the DVD released in England in 2008. Will that ultimately affect the film’s take or will the now-higher profile of star Amber Heard and director Levine draw ticket buyers who don’t normally go for horror fare?<\/p>\n

The film centers on a \u201cgood girl\u201d Mandy Lane (Heard) who gets invited by her high school friends to a weekend long party at a secluded ranch. However, amidst the drinking and partying, the teens begin to disappear one by one. Here is the trailer from the film\u2019s UK release.<\/p>\n
