Both films were based off of advice books written by Rosalind Wiseman. <strong>Mean Girls<\/strong> was adapted from Wiseman&#8217;s <em>Queen Bees And Wannabes<\/em> while Mean Moms stems from <em>Queen Bee Moms And King Pin Dads: Dealing With The Parents, Teachers, Coaches, and Counselors Who Can Make \u2014 or Break \u2014 Your Child\u2019s Future<\/em>. But one should not be construed as a sequel to the other.<\/p>\n<p>There is an interesting connection between the two.
