Recently, I was sitting through the credits of a summer blockbuster and I noticed that several others were doing the same thing. And when the lights went up, overheard snippets of conversations confirmed that they were all waiting for the same thing that I was – a post-credits tag scene that never came. Ever since Marvel Studios surprised fans with an appearance by Nick Fury at the end of the very first Iron Man<\/strong> film, genre movie fans have been staying through closing credit crawls of any movie to see if there will be rewarded with an additional scene. While, not every movie has one, fans will want to sit through the closing credits of the upcoming X-Men<\/strong> franchise film The Wolverine<\/strong> when it opens next weekend as there will be a tag scene that points towards the franchise’s next installment, 2014’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Speaking with Coming Soon<\/a>, franchise star Hugh Jackman confirmed –<\/p>\n

If you stay on after the credits you get to see a nice little preview for [Days Of Future Past<\/strong> director] Bryan [Singer]’s next film.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
