The Wolverine (Fox, 3,924 Theaters,126 Minutes, Rated PG-13): <\/strong>So, we&#8217;ve come to this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>X-Men Origins: Wolverine\u00a0<\/strong>was awful. So it won&#8217;t take a lot for this one to better than the one that precedes it.\u00a0 But that last film left such a bad taste in the mouth, it&#8217;s hard to go into this one without at least a soupcon of trepidation.<\/p>\n<p>It uses the Chris Claremont\/Frank Miller miniseries as a loose inspiration, so that&#8217;s good at least. It deal with a reclusive Logan, who has been in exile and dealing with bad dreams over killing the object of his affection, Jean Grey, in <strong>X-Men: The Last Stand. <\/strong>So, when an offer comes in from an old enemy whose life he saved, and offer to release Logan of his healing power, the clawed mutant might just decide to take up that offer. Of course, every deal comes with a price, and this one is no different. How can Logan fight off the bad guys when he has become all too much human.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to stick around after the credits.
