Well, here&#8217;s the latest installment of that.<\/p>\n<p>While at the Summer TV Critics Association Press Tour to promote this fall&#8217;s airing of his documentary Side By Side on PBS, Winter&#8217;s Bill &amp; Ted co-star Keanu Reeves was (unsurprisingly) asked about the status of the threequel&#8217;s script. He stated &#8211;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There\u2019ve been a couple of drafts now. And we\u2019re waiting on the writers to come up with another draft. Which we\u2019re all looking forward to.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The screenplay is being written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, the writers who created the franchise and wrote the previous two installments.
