McKenna has already had some experience writing this type of character having scripted <strong>The Devil Wears Prada<\/strong>. She also worked on Disney&#8217;s new adaptation of the musical <strong>Annie<\/strong>, which is currently casting. The storyline for <strong>Cruella<\/strong> is currently being kept under tight wraps.<\/p>\n<p>This won&#8217;t be the first time that the villainous vamp has been brought to life on the big screen. <strong>Devil Wears Prada<\/strong> star Glen Close played her in the 1996 live action adaptation of the classic animated film as well as its 2000 sequel.<\/p>\n<p>The project is just the latest in a series of films from Disney that raid their animated classics for live action projects.
