\"MartinSheen\"<\/a>Martin Sheen has signed on to Warren Beatty’s planned film about Howard Hughes.<\/p>\n

There is no word as to what role Sheen will be playing in the project, but Beatty will be playing reclusive millionaire Hughes as well as producing. Deadline<\/a> states that the “story centers Hughes\u2019 assistant (played by Alden Ehrenreich) and his love interest (Lily Collins).” Annette Benning and Matthew Broderick round out the known cast.<\/p>\n

The film’s screenplay is under some tight wraps, but just from this short description it sounds as if Hughes is only a supporting character in the narrative. But given the small amount of roles that seem to be out there for the likes of Sheen and Beatty that will really allow them to show off their acting chops, this project is instantly on my radar as one to watch for.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
