For those of you who have not been following the story, Channing Tatum expressed an interest in bringing his favorite X-Man, Gambit, to the big screen during a White House Down <\/strong>press junket.<\/a> In return, Lauren Shuler Donner, producer of the X-Men films, showed great enthusiasm<\/a> for a Gambit<\/strong> film starring Tatum. All that was standing in the way was studio approval.<\/p>\n Well, it looks like Fox gave the go ahead, because Shuler Donner confirmed Tatum as Gambit in an interview with Total Film<\/em> on red carpet at the premiere of X-Men: Days of Future Past<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
