\"josh-brolin1\"<\/a>The ultimate bad guy in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe has found his voice. The studio has cast Josh Brolin to be the voice of the intergalactic conqueror Thanos in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy<\/strong>. And given that Thanos was revealed at the end of 2012’s The Avengers<\/strong> to have been the supplier of that film’s invading alien army, it is a good bet that we’ll be seeing\/hearing more from him in the future.<\/p>\n

But when exactly Thanos will reappear seems to be a matter of debate. Variety<\/a> and The Wrap<\/a> are both reporting that Thanos will make an appearance in next summer’s The Avengers: Age Of Ultron<\/strong>. However, HitFix’s Drew McWeeny<\/a> is reporting that it won’t be until after Age Of Ultron<\/strong> that he’ll be making his next appearance; “He\u2019s not in \u201cAge Of Ultron.\u201d None of the stuff from the \u201cGuardians\u201d end of the galaxy is yet. That\u2019s Phase 3.”<\/p>\n

It is not clear yet if Brolin will be performing the motion-capture required to bring the character to life. For Avengers<\/strong>, Marvel cast actor\/stuntman Damion Poitier to play Thanos for the character’s momentary appearance, but studio chief Kevin Feige had stated in the past that there was the possibility of recasting the part.<\/p>\n
