Hot Tub Time Machine<\/strong> turned out to be a surprise hit for director Steve Pink and cast John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clarke Duke and Chevy Chase. Now, most of them are back for another soak and temporal trip in the appropriately named Hot Tub Time Machine 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So who’s missing from the cast this time around? I suppose that can be answered by carefully observing how the trailer manages to dance, and edit, around that one person’s absence, especially right at the beginning? And that is my big concern about the sequel. Cusack was the heart of the film, whose sweet story was hung all the rediculous antics of the rest of the cast. Can newcomer Adam Scott fill in the whole created by Cusak’s absence? We’ll find out when Hot Tub Time Machine 2<\/strong> opens on Christmas Day.<\/p>\n
