I\u2019m back in movies now. I\u2019ve got three lined up, and this is the ****ing grand news. Tusk was the absolute bridge to <strong>Clerks III<\/strong>. Because of <strong>Tusk<\/strong>, I got my financing for <strong>Clerks III<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And honestly, that would not have happened. A year and change ago I was trying to ****ing desperately get <strong>Clerks III<\/strong> made for the 20th anniversary. And that desperation, I must have reeked of it, because I couldn\u2019t ****ing find money and s***. But it was Tusk, it was people going \u2018Holy F***! What else do you have?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018<strong>Clerks III<\/strong>\u2019, done. So everybody that\u2019s like, \u2018He failed, he failed,\u2019 thank you I failed into <strong>Clerks III<\/strong>. So, never trust anybody when they tell you how your story goes, man. You know your story. You write your own story.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There&#8217;s no timetable yet as to when he&#8217;ll get <strong>Clerks III<\/strong> in front of the cameras. Currently, Smith is shooting <strong>Yoga Hosers<\/strong>, the second film in his trilogy about Canada. (<strong>Tusk<\/strong> was the first.)
