The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death (Relativity Media, 2,602 Theaters, 98 Minutes, Rated PG-13 for some disturbing and frightening images, and for thematic elements): <\/strong>The first The Woman in Black <\/strong>might not seem like it was a hit deserving of a sequel, considering it debuted at #2 at the American box office. But a $125 million end gross worldwide against a $15 budget makes it a major success, and, therefore, deserving of a sequel.<\/p>\n

The story moves 40 years into the future and is set during WWII. During the war, children were shipped off to the countryside so that they would be safe from the Nazi bombing campaigns.Unfortunately, two children have been sent to the haunted Eel Marsh House from the first film. That house is not good for kids, as the pair’s guardian Eve will soon find out.<\/p>\n

This time, the production costs should be even lower because no name stars (well, none known in the U.S.) have been cast.But will that be enough to make a similar profit this time around during a dead period at the box office? We shall see.<\/p>\n
