There is no word as to extent of what Weitz&#8217;s duties will entail, whether it will be a brand new story he will be contributing or if he will be just strengthening certain aspects of Whitta&#8217;s work.<\/p>\n<p>The film will be the first of a number of planned stand-alone Star Wars films that will be released bi-annually between installments of the new <strong>Star Wars<\/strong> trilogy.
