Today he announced via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/YesThatKevinSmith\/photos\/a.10151656439811930.1073741826.6985046929\/10152730798026930\/?type=1\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a> that Claire Forlani, who played Brandy, the fed-up girlfriend of Jeremy London&#8217;s T.S. Quint.<\/p>\n<p>[fb_embed_post href=&#8221;https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/YesThatKevinSmith\/photos\/a.10151656439811930.1073741826.6985046929\/10152730798026930\/?type=1&#8243; width=&#8221;550&#8243;\/]<\/p>\n<p>Good news for Smith fans, as with her reportedly never being happy with her experience in shooting the original film it appeared that Forlani&#8217;s participation could have been a long shot. That leaves the only other long shot returnee from the original cast being <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2015\/04\/27\/smith-hoping-to-get-affleck-to-return-for-mallrats-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">the very busy Ben Affleck<\/a>.
