Night Shyamalan&#8217;s most recent horror film <strong>The Visit<\/strong> did marginally better than the director&#8217;s output from the last ten years or so. Will the director be able to continue his return back to his formal greatness? We&#8217;ll find out if he can continue that return with his next film, the just announced <strong>Split<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/heat-vision\/split-m-night-shyamalan-film-834919\" target=\"_blank\">Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, James McAvoy will star in the film which has a scheduled January 20, 2017. Also in the cast will be Anya Taylor Joy, Betty Buckley, Jessica Sula and Haley Lu Richardson.<\/p>\n<p>As expected, there is not much more information than that about the film, outside of the fact that it will be a supernatural thriller. <strong>The Visit<\/strong> was made on a budget of just $5 million and grossed studio Blumhouse Productions $89 million worldwide.
