And if you were like me, as you scoured your brain trying to come up with subtexts and metaphors in the book for a paper, you never thought that it was based on a true story. But it was, and this is the story it was based on.<\/p>\n

I had the pleasure reading the book this film was based on, and it portrayed a harrowing portrait of how life was back then and the dangers the whaling industry faced. It would be impossible to not make a captivating film from that text.<\/p>\n

And yet, only half the critics at press time liked it. Hmm….<\/p>\n

Anyway, this might be of interest to anyone curious what a Thor, Spider-Man, Scarecrow and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter team-up might look like.<\/p>\n
