Well, series creator Seth MacFarland addressed the possibility of Quahog, Rhode Island’s favorite family making the transition from the small to the big screen in a quickie interview with Wired<\/a>, which was held in conjunction of MacFarland’s other series, American Dad<\/em>, reaching its 100th episode.<\/p>\n

Fox wants it. We know what we want to do with it. It\u2019s just a question of finding the time. That\u2019s why The Simpsons<\/em> took so many years to do theirs. It wasn\u2019t because they didn\u2019t know what they wanted to do with it. They just couldn\u2019t fit it into the schedule. There\u2019s so much to do for a weekly animated series \u2014 twice as much as you have to do for a live-action show. So, we\u2019re finding time where we can. We\u2019re in the early stages right now.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pretty much a non-answer, and pretty much the same one<\/a> that he gave almost a year ago in response to the same question. Still, I’m guessing that we will eventually see it at the local multiplex.
