He has his detractors and fans, his proponents and critics. And the conversation is about to go another few rounds this weekend as Landis&#8217;s first feature film as a director,<strong> Me Him Her<\/strong>, goes into release. A trailer for the film was released a few weeks ago, but apparently Landis wasn&#8217;t happy with it as he has released this re-edited version.<\/p>\n<p>The film is a step away from the fantasy stories that the writer of Chronicle and Victor Frankenstein is probably best known for. In it, Luke Bracey stars as a closeted TV star whose secret may be outed with the arrival of his friend, played by Dustin Milligan. An encounter with a lesbian (Emily Meade) who is still smarting from her own recent breakup only further complicates things. knowing Landis&#8217;s work, I doubt that the film will come out quite like the `90s indie comedy that short description makes it sound like.
