Superman: Dawn of Justice<\/strong> that criticized that film to be too serious, that the reshoots in question would be done to make <strong>Suicide Squad <\/strong>lighter in tone by amping up the humor.<\/p>\n<p>Not so says director David Ayer:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SuicideSquad?src=hash\">#SuicideSquad<\/a> \u201creshoots for humor\u201d is silly. When a studio loves your movie and asks what else you want, go for it! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ThanksWB?src=hash\">#ThanksWB<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/moreaction?src=hash\">#moreaction<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 David Ayer (@DavidAyerMovies) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DavidAyerMovies\/status\/719439142925373440\">April 11, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Yes, according to Ayer, the reshoots are being done to add #moreaction to the film, not humor.<\/p>\n<p>Is this the truth? Well, when films are looking to trim a budget, action sequences are the first to go. So it could be that Ayer is adding really cool action scenes that he begrudgingly had to give up in the sake of meeting budget.
