Now that Kevin Smith has his troubles with the Motion Picture Association of America and the rating that they wanted to give to his latest film Yoga Hosers<\/strong> straightened out<\/a>, the writer\/director has announced a release date for the comedy – July 29.<\/p>\n

Smith has also a promotional speaking tour for Yoga Hosers<\/strong>, a series of one night stands where he will screen the movie and then do a question-and-answer session afterwards. Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of seeing Smith speak either live or in the numerous direct-to-video “Evening With Kevin Smith” releases know how fun the guy can be just with a mic in his stand alone on a stage.<\/p>\n

Yoga Hosers<\/strong> is the second installment in Smiths’ True North trilogy of films all set in Canada. With the first installment, Tusk<\/strong>, being a horror film and Yoga Hosers<\/strong> being described by the director as “the weirdest, least appropriate kids\u2019 movie ever made,” it should be interesting to see how the final film of the three, Moose Jaws<\/strong>, turns out.<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time that Smith has toured to promote a film. In 2011 he embarked on a similar tour for his horror\/thriller Red State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At a quick glance I am noticing a glaring omission – Smiths’ home state of New Jersey. In fact the whole north east section of the country is being missed on this promotional circuit.
