\"mera\"Aquaman<\/strong> was one of the first comic book superheroes to get married. His wife, Mera, was an alien from an aquatic world who could make water do her bidding. Their union was a longtime component of the Aquaman mythos, so its it good to see that Mera will be making the leap to the big screen with her husband. Now, we finally have a sneak peek at how Amber Heard will look playing the character.<\/p>\n

IGN<\/a> passed along Warners reveal for the character, including design sketches and a video short describing the process. Here is the photo of Mera in full costume:<\/p>\n

\"mera-in-aquaman\"Unlike the design for Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Mera’s design matches the comic book version of her more closely. I bet that if it wasn’t for the grimy grey wash Warners thinks adds depth to its superhero line, the green in her costume would really pop.<\/p>\n

Mera is supposed to appear next November in the Justice League <\/strong>film, with a bigger role in\u00a0Aquaman<\/strong>, opening July 27, 2018.<\/p>\n
