He will be joining a cast being headed up by Emily Blunt as the magical nanny.<\/p>\n<p>Others in the cast include Lin-Manuel Miranda as a lamplighter named Jack and Meryl Streep, who will be playing Mary&#8217;s equally magical cousin. Firth is set to play William Weatherall Wilkins, president of Fidelity Fiduciary Bank.<\/p>\n<p>The film&#8217;s story, written by Oscar nominee David Magee will center on Michael and Jane Banks, the two children from the first film, receiving a return visit from their nanny some twenty-five years later.<\/p>\n<p>The film is being directed by Rob Marshall with composer Marc Shaiman collaborating with Scott Wittman on original songs.
