The son of actor Jose Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney, Ferrer’s acting carrer spanned over thirty years. He made his film debut in the 1982 film Truckin’ Bobby McCoy<\/strong> but his most famous film role was as OmniCorp executive Bob Morton, the man\u00a0in charge of the RoboCop program in Paul Verheoven’s 1984’s Sci-fi classic RoboCop<\/strong>. He also had a role as a helmsman in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Ferrer also appeared in films such as Revenge<\/strong>, Hot Shots: Part Deux<\/strong>, Iron Man 3<\/strong> and in a lead role as journalist\u00a0Richard Dees in Stephen King’s The Night Flier<\/strong>. He also had a prolific career in television. He was a series regular on Crossing Jordan<\/strong> and NCIS: Los Angeles <\/strong>and worked with David Lynch on Twin Peaks<\/strong> and On the Air<\/strong>. He returned as FBI agent\u00a0Albert Rosenfeld in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me<\/strong>\u00a0on Showtime’s upcoming Twin Peaks<\/strong> restart.<\/p>\n He was also active in voice acting in cartoons and video games, most notably in Mulan<\/strong>. He was also a skilled musician, frequently playing at\u00a0San Diego Comic Con\u00a0with friend and fellow actor\u00a0Billy Mumy in a group named Seduction of the innocent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n His cousin was actor George Clooney. The pair appeared together twice.
