Let’s face it, when director David Leitch’s Atomic Blonde<\/strong> premiered at the SouthBySouthWest fetival earlier this year, it exploded onto the scene. This film, adapting the comic series The Coldest City<\/em>, didn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar, but after that first screening, it was all anyone could talk about. The buzz was so strong on the film that Focus Features quickly brought the film’s general release date forward a few weeks out of the dog days of August to its current July 28 spot. <\/p>\n

This new trailer, the first one for general audiences, plays up the film’s stylish look and dry wit while downplaying the previous trailer’s violence. As for the story, that looks as if it will a twisty, turn-y and sometimes steamy trip through the world of espionage.<\/p>\n
