In the original 1993 film and it&#8217;s 1997 sequel, <strong>The Lost World: Jurassic Park<\/strong>, Goldblum played wisecracking genius mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm who is not so much wowed by the technical marvel of cloning dinosaurs in the modern age as he is terrified of the potential unintended consequences.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no word yet as to how big or small a part his character will play. I would guess that it would be somewhat substantial, though. You don&#8217;t bring a fan favorite character like Malcolm back for a short cameo.<\/p>\n<p>Production is currently underway with <strong>A Monster Calls<\/strong> director J.A.
