Thursday, July 20<\/h1>\n

\"\"Fox<\/h2>\n

Hall H 11:00 am to 12:00 pm<\/h3>\n

20th Century Fox starts things off first with a Thursday panel in the big room. Expect big things from their Marvel properties.\u00a0Deadpool 2\u00a0<\/strong>is shooting, so expect a presence from that film and maybe, just maybe, a sizzle reel for the fans to drool over.\u00a0X-Men: The New Mutants\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0X-Men: Dark Phoenix<\/strong> are just about ready to go, so we can hope for Fox to present the casts from those films to the audience. And Fox recently reserved a whole bunch of dates for their Marvel films. There is a chance they might announce what films will go into those dates as well.<\/p>\n

Outside of Marvel. Fox also has\u00a0Kingsman: The Golden Circle\u00a0<\/strong>to promote. We might also see a push for next year’s\u00a0 The Predator\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Alita: Battle Angel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Warner Brothers<\/h2>\n

Riding high off of\u00a0Wonder Woman<\/strong>‘s success, you know that their DC line will get a big push. But what else? Well, Warners told us:<\/p>\n

  • Director Steven Spielberg\u2019s \u201cReady Player One<\/strong>,\u201d based on the hugely popular Ernest Cline novel, with stars Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke and T.J. Miller, author\/co-screenwriter Cline, co-screenwriter Zak Penn, and Spielberg on the panel;<\/li>\n
  • The long-awaited \u201cBlade Runner 2049<\/strong>,\u201d Alcon Entertainment\u2019s sequel to the cult classic takes us 30 more years into the future, with stars Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, as well as Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Lennie James and Mackenzie Davis, writers Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, and the film\u2019s director, Denis Villeneuve;<\/li>\n
  • And the greatest Super Heroes of the DC universe, united for the first time on the big screen, with stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher talking all things \u201cJustice League<\/strong>,\u201d as well as an early look at director James Wan\u2019s \u201cAquaman<\/strong>.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    That’s a lot of star power! As for surprises, well, there are a couple holes in their DCEU schedule that could be filled.\u00a0The Flash\u00a0<\/strong>is still looking for a director and SDCC would be the ideal place to announce one. And there are a lot of films in development that can be teased as well.<\/p>\n

    \"\"Marvel Studios<\/h2>\n

    Hall H 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm<\/h3>\n

    Coming of a whole load of Marvel announcements coming from D23 <\/a>dealing with\u00a0Avengers: Infinity War<\/strong><\/a>, you’d think Marvel Studios would have nothing to promote at SDCC. Well, you might have forgotten that they have two movies about to come out—Thor: Ragnarok\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Black Panther<\/strong>. Expect those two to get a push.<\/p>\n

    But will that be all? If Mark Ruffalo is to be believed, no:<\/p>\n
