Coming onto the film is Jack Thorne, the British writer behind <strong>Wonder<\/strong>, the upcoming Julia Roberts film. Previously, <strong>Episode IX<\/strong> director Colin Trevorrow and and his writing partner Derek Connolly had been the sole contributors to the film&#8217;s screenplay.<\/p>\n<p>The Hollywood Reporter is stating that this is just a case of the screenplay needing a &#8220;fresh set of eyes&#8221; on it, while noting that it is unknown how extensive Thorne&#8217;s work will be. However, it is hard not to at least speculate if Thorne&#8217;s arrival has anything to do with the poor critical reaction the Trevorrow-directed <strong>The Book Of Henry<\/strong> received earlier this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Although not well known on this side of the Atlantic, Thorne&#8217;s credits include two genre entries for British television &#8211;  <em>His Dark Materials<\/em>, the BBC\u2019s adaptation of the fantasy novel series by Philip Pullman and <em>Philip K.
