LeFauve, a veteran of Pixar&#8217;s <strong>Inside Out<\/strong>, jas moved on to writing and directing Disney&#8217;s animated film <strong>Gigantic<\/strong>. There is no word yet as to what projects Perlman, who as part of Marvels&#8217; writers program developed the screenplay for <strong>Guardians Of The Galaxy<\/strong> prior to director James Gunn coming on board, is moving on to. Given that <strong>Guardians Of The Galaxy<\/strong> helped set the tone of the cosmic side of Marvel&#8217;s cinematic universe, in whixh this story will also be set, her loss from the project is disappointing.<\/p>\n<p>Robertson-Deoret comes to <strong>Captain Marvel<\/strong> with some good female-oriented geek cred. Previously she has scripted MGM&#8217;s upcoming <strong>Tomb Raider<\/strong> reboot which will star Alicia Vikander. Additionally, she wrote on Warner Brothers&#8217; <strong>Gotham City Sirens<\/strong>, which would see Margot Robbie reprising her <strong>Suicide Squad<\/strong> role of Harley Quinn to lead a gang of female supervillaians under the auspices of <strong>Suicide Squad<\/strong> director David Ayer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Captain Marvel<\/strong> is set for a March 8, 2019 release.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\">Marvel Studios&#8217; first solo female-lead film, Captain Marvel is getting a new writer.
