While his resume contains legendary films such as\u00a0<strong>Mr. Mom<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Batman<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Beetlejuice<\/strong>, it was undone by films such as\u00a0<strong>Touch and Go<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>The Dream Team\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Jack Frost<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s undergoing a career resurgence as of late with\u00a0<strong>Birdman<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Spotlight<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/strong>. That&#8217;s all I need to know to avoid it.<\/p>\n<p>Because I know what I\u00a0 will be getting. It will be esoteric to the point of being obtuse. You will be constantly trying to guess what is real and what is illusion, but never given enough evidence to make an argument for either. There will be an awkwardly placed love scene. The film will end, and you&#8217;ll get the feeling that there was a message that was being sent by the film, but you&#8217;ll neither care to find out what it is nor be sure it is what he meant even if you did.<\/p>\n<p>I am in the minority. A lot of critics believe that the mess he creates is high art. But I found\u00a0<strong>Black Swan\u00a0<\/strong>completely annoying<strong>. <\/strong>Annoying enough to stay away from this one.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XpICoc65uh0\" width=\"678\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Next week, a new installment of the Kingsman and LEGO franchises hit the new releases.
