The trailer for the film has just been released.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the 2012 graphic novel of the same name by John &#8220;Derf&#8221; Backderf, the film covers the friendship the cartoonist had with the future serial killer while they were both in high school.<\/p>\n<p>The actor playing Jeffrey Dahmer will look familiar to anyone who child watches the Disney Channel. He&#8217;s Ross Lynch, who played Austin on the network&#8217;s sitcom\u00a0<em>Austin &amp; Ally<\/em>. Dahmer is certainly a change of pace role for the young man, but based on what we see in the trailer, he seems to do a pretty good job switching those gears.<\/p>\n<p>The film, which was written and directed by Marc Meyers, has been making the rounds of the festival circuit and has a release date of November 3, 2017.
