The studio has set a release date for the Channing Tatum-starring film &#8211; February 14, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The studio hired <strong>Pirates Of The Caribbean<\/strong> director Gore Verbinski to helm the film <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2017\/10\/06\/gore-verbinski-next-director-attached-gambit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">last week<\/a>. Verbinski came aboard the project after tenures from both Doug Liman and Rupert Wyatt failed to get the project in front of cameras.<\/p>\n<p>It looks like Fox is hoping to capitalize on the success that <strong>Deadpool<\/strong> had went it opened on Valentine Day&#8217;s Weekend in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gambit<\/strong>&#8216;s 2019 bow is the first <strong>X-Men<\/strong> film that the studio has scheduled for that year.
