Instead, the Reporter quotes Miyazaki as stating &#8220;The film is about how this particular book featured prominently in the protagonist&#8217;s life. It will take three to four years to complete the anime.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Miyazaki announced his retirement in 2012, as he was completing his last feature, <strong>The Wind Rises<\/strong>.
