You might not have known it, but next month we were scheduled to get a third Cloverfield<\/strong> film in just a couple of weeks. Titled The God Particle<\/strong>, it was set for a February 2 release. As expected, there had been virtually no advertising or promotion for the film. This is J J Abrams’ “Mystery Box” theory in action, much like how there was no advertising for the previous two Cloverfield<\/strong> films until just a few weeks before so release.<\/p>\n

The lack of public awareness for the film also makes it really easy to move the film around without anyone noticing.<\/p>\n

And that’s what it looks like Paramount was hoping to do, but the folks behind the Discussing Film twitter have found out that the film has been removed from the release schedule.<\/p>\n
