I lumped this one in with the\u00a0Divergent\u00a0<\/strong>series as Young Adult novel series adaptations that failed in being transferred to the screen. That was wrong.<\/p>\n

Because while both franchises have been lambasted by the critics,\u00a0Maze Runner\u00a0<\/strong>has done quite a bit better at the box office with much lower budgets. So much so that it is able to close out its arc\u00a0 on the big screen.\u00a0Divergent’<\/strong>s final installment might never be seen.<\/p>\n

Anyway, this film marks the end of the line for these Runners, and will wrap up all the loose plot line from the series. If you’ve been invested in the franchise up to this point, well, you almost have to see it. If you haven’t, you can avoid this.<\/p>\n
