Karsinski will be joined by his <strong>A Quiet Place<\/strong> producing partners at Platinum Dunes \u2013 Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.<\/p>\n<p>Krasinski\u2019s directorial debut, <strong>A Quiet Place<\/strong>, opened this past weekend to $50.2 million in business at the domestic box office, a number that exceeded projections that the film would only bring in somewhere in the mid-$300 million.<\/p>\n<p>Variety describes the story as \u2013<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[C]enter[ing] on a woman who is among a handful of descendants of a Martian colony long-abandoned by Earth following a cataclysm. The woman one day finds she can breather the air on Mars, upending her world and that of her fellow colonists.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The project is still in its early days, with no screenwriter yet attached.
