Some people love everything she does, some hate everything she does. I straddle that line. I think she is a great comedic talent. She is a master of timing and delivery and isn’t afraid to push boundaries. However, I’m not entirely comfortable with her reliance on slapstick. She doesn’t need it, and it takes away from her performance. This film will be no different.<\/p>\n

I hold out hope for October’s\u00a0Can You Ever Forgive Me?<\/strong>, which looks like McCarthy stretching her acting muscles and leaving the pratfalls at home. Until then, this tale of a divorced mom who goes back to college might have a few laughs in it for you.<\/p>\n
