\"\"Hot on the heels of Paramount’s removing\u00a0Transformers 6\u00a0<\/strong>from their schedule<\/a> and moving another films around on it, we have another studio moving a highly-anticipated sci-fi adaptation back on their schedule.<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/a> reports that Warner Brothers is moving\u00a0Six Billion Dollar Man\u00a0<\/strong>film back a little over a year from May 31, 2019 to June 5, 2020. The reason given is due to director <\/span>Damian Szifron removal from the project<\/a> earlier this month. The shift allows Warners to take a little more time to find a new director and figure out whether to keep Szifron’s script or go in a new direction.<\/p>\n

Into the empty spot, Warners will be sliding back Legendary’s\u00a0Godzilla 2\u00a0<\/strong>from March 22, 2019 into\u00a0Six Billion Dollar Man<\/strong>‘s old release date, giving Warner’s a replacement summer blockbuster.<\/p>\n

Warners also announced that it will be moving its anticipated\u00a0Crazy Rich Asians\u00a0<\/strong>forward two days, from Friday, August 17th to Wednesday August 15th, to get a jump on a very busy, four film weekend.<\/p>\n

The studio also announces that\u00a0Doctor Sleep<\/strong>, the adaptation of Stephen King’s novel of the same name which was the sequel to his novel\u00a0The Shining<\/em>. That film will now be released on January 24, 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
