\"\"Matthew Vaughn has done some of the best adaptations of comic book writer Mark Millar’s work, so it’s only fitting that Vaughn will use Millar adaptations to launch his new business venture.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Empire Magazine<\/a>, Vaughn announced the founding of Marv Studios, which Vaughn claims will be “the modern version of what a studio can be.” Marv Studios will get its start with a reboot of Millar’s\u00a0Kick-Ass\u00a0<\/strong>character and spin-offs from Millar’s\u00a0Kingsman\u00a0<\/strong>series.<\/p>\n

It is not known how Marv Studios will differ from Vaughn’s current production shingle, Marv Films. One might assume that the new entity will be a more immersive company controlling more means of production than Marv films did or could.<\/p>\n

\"\"The reboot of\u00a0Kick-Ass\u00a0<\/strong>most likely follow the storyline from the most current comic book series. The means a new protagonist, Patience Lee, an Afghanistan war veteran who dresses up in costume to rob wealthy criminals in order to make ends meet. There will also be a spin off film for\u00a0Kick-Ass\u00a0<\/strong>supporting character, Hit-Girl<\/strong>. It will either feature her training as a small child or her life as an adult.<\/p>\n

For the\u00a0Kingsman<\/strong>, there will be a third movie in the series, which will shoot back-to-back with a spin-off that looks at the organization back in the early 1900’s. Then the Kingsman <\/strong>will appear in an eight-hour TV series.<\/p>\n

In addition, the American spy organization The Statesmen<\/strong>,\u00a0 which was introduced in the last\u00a0Kingsman\u00a0<\/strong>film, will be getting a spin-off film of the very own. No word if Jeff Bridges, Hallie Berry, or Channing Tatum will be returning.<\/p>\n

The studio will also be co-produce with Paramount,\u00a0Rocketman,\u00a0<\/strong>the Elton John biopic that Vaughn claims will be the “first R-Rated musical.” I’m sure he meant to say, “first R-Rated musical biopic” because there have been a number of R-Rated musicals, notably Fame <\/strong>and The Rocky Horror Picture Show<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
