For those Marvel fans in the know, Good Morning America is your morning show of choice. Being that it, like Marvel Studios, is owned by Disney, that program is where the latest Marvel Studios trailers will debut. Today, it was Captain Marvel<\/strong>‘s turn.<\/p>\n The debut was showcased in a live remote at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum where Brie Larson and a number of young students made a big show of introducing the clip to an eagerly awaiting public.<\/p>\n How was the trailer? Well, you can see for yourself below. But for me, it lacked a certain “WOW” factor. Granted, the first trailer of any film will not tell you all that much about it–the biggest plot point revealed here is that Carol Danvers has memories of being on Earth even though she shouldn’t have any–but there wasn’t much revealed here that wasn’t shown in the recent Entertainment Weekly article<\/a>. Getting a fleeting glimpse of the villainous Skrulls in the trailer is quite that impressive when we got a high resolution image of them just two weeks prior.<\/p>\n Don’t get me wrong, it is a well made trailer, touching all the bases a first trailer needs to. We get to see that Samuel L. Jackson’s de-aged\u00a0 Nick Fury will probably play a sizable role in the film. And that quick glimpse of young Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) with his magnificent head of hair was pretty cool. But if you have a subscription to Entertainment Weekly, don’t expect any other shocks or surprises.<\/p>\n Captain Marvel <\/strong>opens March 8, 2019.<\/p>\n
