If <strong>Solo: A Star Wars Story <\/strong>flopped so badly that it threw Disney entire slate of <strong>Star Wars <\/strong>films into disarray, how likely would it be that a film focusing on the more enigmatic, less popular Boba Fett do? However, Boba Fett was more of a blank slate than Han Solo, allowing the creative team more leeway in constructing a story around him. And his film was to be brought to the big screen by James Mangold. Odds are Disney wouldn&#8217;t have to fire him halfway through filming and replace him with Ron Howard.<\/p>\n<p>What exactly were we missing out on? Well, <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/movies\/2018\/10\/26\/star-wars-producers-halt-boba-fett-film\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> has a hint of what the plot would entail. However, it comes with a caveat. This plot was in place when Josh Trank was developing a <strong>Boba Fett <\/strong>film, and the plot might have changed after <strong>Fantastic Four<\/strong>&#8216;s failure at the box office caused Disney to drop him. Who knows if Mangold would have kept these elements in his script for the film.<\/p>\n<p>The Trank plot would have been a prequel, with Fett associating with the rest of the bounty hunters seen with him on the bridge during <strong>Empire Strikes Back<\/strong>. Dagnabbit! Does this now mean that I will never find out if Zuckuss was a groupie for the Max Rebo band like I wrote in my Zuckuss fan fiction.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the fact that Kathleen Kennedy mentioned <em>The Mandalorian <\/em>might be a hint that Boba Fett&#8217;s movie was cancelled so he could appear there. Disney has said that the main character definitely isn&#8217;t Boba Fett, but that doesn&#8217;t mean he couldn&#8217;t play a role in the narrative.
