{"id":45077,"date":"2018-11-13T14:49:56","date_gmt":"2018-11-13T19:49:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/?p=45077"},"modified":"2018-11-13T21:55:59","modified_gmt":"2018-11-14T02:55:59","slug":"star-wars-mandalorian-pedro-pascal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2018\/11\/13\/star-wars-mandalorian-pedro-pascal\/","title":{"rendered":"STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN Casts Pedro Pascal In Lead Role"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/mandalorian-pedro-pascal.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-45078\" src=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/mandalorian-pedro-pascal.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"340\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pedro Pascal has been cast to lead Disney\/Lucasfilm&#8217;s live-action <strong>Star Wars<\/strong> series <em>The Mandalorian<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2018\/film\/news\/star-wars-pedro-pascal-mandalorian-series-1203023818\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Variety<\/a> is reporting the casting, and while they describe his unnamed character as a lead role, they don&#8217;t equivocally state that Pascal will be playing the show&#8217;s titular role.<\/p>\n<p>The series, which will be available through Disney&#8217;s streaming service Disney+ when that premiers late next year, is set between the fall of the evil Galactic Empire, which took place after the events of <strong>Return Of The Jedi<\/strong> and before the rise of the equally evil First Order, the baddies of the current <strong>Star Wars<\/strong> sequel trilogy.
