Well the lineup for the Cannes Film Festival is announced, and though I will not be going, there are a few titles worth watching out for.<\/p>\n

As expected, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull<\/strong> will be screening out of competition, along with Woody Allen\u2019s latest, Vicky Cristina Barcelona<\/strong>. Oddly enough, the animated Kung Fu Panda<\/strong> is also screening, which gives me hope that the might be better than its trailer has indicated.<\/p>\n

Competing films include Steven Soderbergh\u2019s epic, two-part, four-hour bio-pic Che<\/strong>, screenwriter Charlie Kaufman\u2019s directorial debut Synecdoche, New York<\/strong> and Clint Eastwood\u2019s latest The Changeling<\/strong>. Atom Egoyan is back at the festival with Adoration<\/strong>, while Wim Wenders unveils his latest, the romantic thriller The Palermo Shooting<\/strong> with Milla Jovovich and Dennis Hopper. Two-time Palme d\u2019Or winners Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne are back to shoot for a hat trick with The Silence of Lorna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Festival\u2019s opening and closing night films have yet to be announced.<\/p>\n
