Paul Giamatti has joined the cast of the upcoming assassination thriller Gunpowder Milkshake<\/strong>, according to the Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The film is being headlined by Karen Gillan (Marvel’s Avengers<\/strong> and Guardians Of The Galaxy<\/strong> films) and Lena Headey (Game Of Thrones<\/em>) as a mother-daughter assassin team. No other plot details are known.<\/p>\n

Giamatti is so far the first name male actor to join the project. There are no details about his character outside of the fact that, according to the Reporter<\/em>, “he is a person to whom all others are connected.”<\/p>\n

Angela Bassett also co-stars.<\/p>\n

The film is the brainchild of Israeli co-writer\/directors Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, who had a recent international hit with the film Big Bad Wolves<\/strong>. Production is set to begin June 3 in Berlin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
