Warner brothers is looking at yet another director for their long in development comic book adaptation, The Flash<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Hollywood Reporter is stating that the studio is in talks with Andy Muschietti, the director of the successful adaptation of Stephen King’s It<\/strong> and the upcoming It: Chapter Two<\/strong>, to slide into the director\u2019s chair for the project.<\/p>\n

Ezra Miller, who played the role of the Fastest Man Alive in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice<\/strong> and Justice League<\/strong>, is still attached to star.<\/p>\n

Muschietti will be replacing John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who were signed to write and direct the film in February 2018.<\/p>\n

Also new to the project is Bumblebee<\/strong> and Birds Of Prey<\/strong> screenwriter Christina Hodson, who is coming on to start from scratch on the screenplay. She\u2019ll have to write fast because the Hollywood Reporter is stating that insiders are looking to next January as the start date for pre-production.<\/p>\n

The Flash<\/strong> has seen a long list of names come and go as Warners has tried to get it into production. Writer\/director duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller were one of the first to give it a go before departing the project. They were followed by Seth Grahame-Smith and Rick Famuyiwa before Daly and Goldstein were brought in. After their departure star Miller teamed with comic book writer Grant Morrison to draft their own screenplay, which is also being set aside.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
