If you\u2019re going to have a story with multiple Supermen, it sort of makes sense you have more than one iteration of his longtime reporter love Lois Lane. And that is what the folks over at the CW’s DC superhero shows must be thinking because for their upcoming crossover event, Crisis On Infinite Earths<\/em>, we are getting two Lois Lanes to join up with the three Supermen already on tap.<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/a> has reported that Erica Durance will be reprising her version of Lois Lane that she played on Smallville<\/em> from 2004 to 2011. She will be appearing alongside that show\u2019s Tom Welling who was announced as joining the Crisis<\/em> crossover earlier this week returning to his role as that show\u2019s Clark Kent\/Superman.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, EW is stating that Elizabeth Tullock will be playing the iteration of Lois Lane that she first played in last year\u2019s Elseworld<\/em> crossover event. Her Lois is married to her world\u2019s Superman \u2013 played by Tyler Hoechlin \u2013 who is the cousin of the CW’s titular Supergirl<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It looks like the only Superman not getting a Lois is Brandon Routh, pulling double duty as the Man of Steel for the event in addition to his regular chores as Ray Palmer, aka The Atom, on DC\u2019s Legends Of Tomorrow<\/em>. Routh played Superman in 2006’s Superman Returns<\/strong> opposite Kate Bosworth\u2019s Lois Lane. And while his version of Superman for Crisis<\/em> doesn\u2019t appear to be the same Superman he played in 2006, it would still be fun if producers were able to get Bosworth to pop by.<\/p>\n

Crisis On Infinite Earths<\/em> is an adaptation of the classic 1985 graphic novel that basically reshaped the universe for the DC Comics superheroes, seeing their multiverse of parallel Earths under attack from the nearly all-powerful Anti-Monitor who desired nothing more than to destroy all of existence. The CW’s version of the story will take place over five hours \u2013 one episode each of Arrow<\/em>, The Flash<\/em>, Batwoman<\/em>, Supergirl<\/em> and Legends Of Tomorrow<\/em> \u2013 with the first three parts airing in December and the remaining two following in January.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
