{"id":47138,"date":"2020-01-14T17:32:46","date_gmt":"2020-01-14T22:32:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/?p=47138"},"modified":"2020-01-27T20:30:48","modified_gmt":"2020-01-28T01:30:48","slug":"cw-supergirl-spinoff-superman-lois","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2020\/01\/14\/cw-supergirl-spinoff-superman-lois\/","title":{"rendered":"CW Adds SUPERGIRL Spinoff SUPERMAN &#038; LOIS To Its Superhero Shows Lineup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/superman-lois.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-47139\" src=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/superman-lois.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"678\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/superman-lois.jpg 678w, https:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/superman-lois-339x170.jpg 339w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 678px) 100vw, 678px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It may be a mild spoiler for tonight&#8217;s <em>Crisis On Infinite Earths<\/em> crossover event, but the network has picked up to series the <em>Supergirl<\/em> spinoff, <em>Superman &amp; Lois<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The new series will see Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch reprising their now titular characters from their various guest appearances on <em>Supergirl<\/em> as the Man of Steel and his wife navigating &#8220;all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today&#8217;s society.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Word first came that the CW was developing a spinoff for the Man of Steel back in October.<\/p>\n<p>Arrowverse veterans Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns are all set to executive produce.<\/p>\n<p>Still no word on the fate of that CW superhero show in development, <em>Green Arrow And The Canaries<\/em>, an <em>Arrow<\/em> that would be set in the future and feature Oliver Queen&#8217;s daughter leading a new team of superheroes. That project&#8217;s backdoor pilot airs next Tuesday as a regular episode of <em>Arrow<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>It won\u2019t be until May when the networks hold their upfront announcements and reveal their upcoming Fall schedules, so for now, where <em>Superman &amp; Lois<\/em> will fit into the CW schedule remains a mystery.
