He also appeared in the MCU installments <strong>Ant-Man<\/strong> (2015), <strong>Captain America: Civil War<\/strong> (2016), <strong>Avengers: Infinity War<\/strong> (2018) and <strong>Avengers: Endgame<\/strong> (2019). At the end of <strong>Endgame<\/strong>, Mackie&#8217;s Sam was given the Captain America shield by a now elderly, time-traveling Steve Rogers, though he was unsure of whether he was worthy of the honor and responsibility being bestowed. He worked through that issue in the Disney+ limited series <em>The Falcon And The Winter Soldier<\/em> earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p><em>Falcon And Winter Soldier<\/em> creator\/writer Malcolm Spellman has already been tapped to co-write the Captain America 4 sreenplay alongside series writer Dalan Musson. <em>FaWS<\/em> director Kari Skogland will be pulling the same duty for <strong>Cap 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no word yet as to when Marvel hopes to have the film in theaters.
