Soule, who had previously written Marvel&#8217;s rather good <em>Poe Dameron<\/em> series, revealed that the new volume of stories would take place after the events of <strong>The Empire Strikes Back<\/strong>. Greg Pak will be taking on the scripting chores for the <em>Darth Vader<\/em> comic, which will also relaunch in January with a new number 1.<\/p>\n<p>Perennial fan favorite Timothy Zahn will be returning to the Star Wars galaxy with a new trilogy of novels titled <em>The Thrawn Ascendency Trilogy<\/em>.
