[The Sandman] will return with new episodes based on multiple volumes of the Neil Gaiman graphic novel to explore even more stories of the Endless.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/11\/the-sandman-season-two-netflix-dc-comics-1235161722\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Deadline<\/a> states that they have confirmed from an independent source that the renewal is happening. Gaiman, who also serves as the show&#8217;s executive producer, alson confirmed the news via twitter &#8211;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The rumours are true. The series opens with him escaping a century of captivity and having to retrieve his three powerful symbols of his office &#8211; a helmet, a ruby and a bag of magical sand as well as restore his kingdom, the Dreaming.
