Scott Pilgrim is getting ready to fight Ramona Flowers’s seven evil ex-es again.<\/p>\n

A new adaptation of the classic graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World<\/em> is on its way. Edgar Wright, who directed the 2010 live action feature adaptation of the comics, has announced on Twitter that an anime version of the story will be coming to Netflix and that the project will reunite the live action cast to voice their characters for this new iteration.<\/p>\n

Wright stated that original Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O\u2019Malley is working on the project alongside writer BenDavid Grabinski and that the show “doesn\u2019t just expand the universe, but also… well, just watch it.”<\/p>\n

Although Wright didn’t give a specific premiere date, he did state it was “coming soon,” so presumable it should bow on the streamer some time this year.<\/p>\n
